"Such Loud Silence" depicts James Bowie after the loss of his wife, Ursula Veramendi, during the cholera epidemic throughout Mexico in 1832. A huge thanks to Alamo author Jack Edmondson who pose for this piece at the Spanish Governor's Palace.

Done with pencil, ink, and copic marker; prints are available upon request.

I think I remember reading a quote like this. Is it common in biographies at all? I've always found Bowie pretty fascinating, probably because of the dearth of information on him compared to other people in Texas history.
